Tanja Kuisma's Biography

Tanja started dancing in the age of seven. First she was training classical ballet. In the age of thirteen she started with contemporary and jazz dance, as well. In the age of eighteen after Matriculation Examination in 1999, she applied for the Theather Academy Dance Department in Helsinki. In 2003 she graduated as master of dance arts. After graduation, Tanja has been working as a freelance dancer. Tanja Kuisma has been developing her expression and skills as a dancer and performer by participating in several physical theatre courses.
